Covid-19 Action Plan
Before I share my safety-first action plan with you, let me start by saying that the safety, wellness and sanity of my clients and community is my #1 priority. Stay home, save lives!
My heart go out to each of you who has been personally affected by the global crisis of COVID-19. Here are the services I am offering to my community as a whole:
If you are interested in buying or selling but on a longer timeline and have de-prioritized learning about the home buying/selling process, I am offering FaceTime and Zoom consultations to anyone looking for some real estate education for when the time is right.
If you are considering a move in the near future, I am happy to offer a personalized, hyper-local market analysis of your current neighborhood or a neighborhood you are exploring.
If you are using this time to re-decorate or organize your home, I love a good FaceTime and am totally game to help you scour the sales and re-arrange a shelf!
BUYERS
For my buyers out there, use this down time to complete a loan application with one of my preferred lenders and get pre-approved so that:
a) you know how much you can spend
b) understand your loan options
c) once you find a home you’d like to pursue, you are ready to go for it!
It’s incredibly important that you take this step now as the market is still competitive and lenders are busy!

Once you are pre-qualified and serious about seeing homes, I am offering 1-on-1 real-time video tours of homes (both interior and exterior). These can be recorded so that you can re-watch them and share them with all decision makers. Once/if we decide you are ready to see the home in real life, I will meet you at the home fully equipped with gloves and sanitizer and we can take a look at the property together (6” ft+ apart).
SELLERS
If your time sheltering in place at home has made you re-think how long you actually want to live there and you are interested in selling, I am offering an in-depth pricing analysis via email within 24 hrs. Together we can work together to discuss what kinds of tweaks I’d recommend you can do now (on your own or with the help of a professional) that will give your home the best digital showing for prospective buyers.
In addition to providing great listing photos of your home, all of my listing clients will receive professional video + 3D tours (+ drone shots where it makes sense) to ensure everyone still has access to seeing your home. Marketing efforts will be focused on expanding the reach of your listing via creative digital advertising and social media tactics.
Open houses are now single buyer showings (accompanied by the buyers agent). I will require that all interested parties have been pre-qualified to minimize the number of parties in the home. If possible, my preference is that the home is vacant.
Either way, proper sanitation measures will be provided to ensure safe showings (a safety action plan sign with showing instructions, gloves, sanitizer, taped on light switches, soap at all sinks etc.). MLS web listing remarks will also explicitly state the safety plan.
Certified appraisals are still happening and I will be in attendance. Home owners are encouraged to make a list of everything they have ever done to the home (plus I will be providing appraisers with my own comps) so that depressible items are accounted for.
Everything from secure earnest money deposit + wire-transfers, mobile notaries, and signings can all be done from home (you can also do this in office should you be comfortable). As your trusted guide, I have resources and systems in place to help you navigate each step of the process.
If you need tips on which restaurants offer pick up, which shows to binge watch, how to make a sourdough start, which local businesses you can support online, which veggies to plant right now or how to entertain an 1.5 year-old without relying (too much) on TV, I am no expert but I am doing my best and am here to commiserate and trade tips and local resources with you!
